Latest Reading
I finished Richard Llewellyn’s How Green Was My Valley. It’s now one of my favorite books. It’s the story of a Welsh family struggling with the changes of the early twentieth century. I was instantly drawn to the voice, the young man reflecting on his upbringing and the changing conditions. Perhaps it is the most captivating voice in all of literature. It instantly pulls you into its world and you never want to leave. It’s one of the rare books you read slowly, because you never want it to end.
